Learning objective : 2.3 Analysing the life processes that animals undergo.
Learning Outcomes : Describe the life cycles of different animals.
SPS : Observing , communicating
Activity :
1)Pupil will watch the animation in title “Early Bloomer”.
2)Pupils will watch the video clip about the bee's life cycle. Pupil will learn the changes of their life cycle.
3)Pupils will have a look at the video clip in title “The Butterfly Story”.
4)Pupils will read an animation story of a frog.
5)Pupils will have look at the video that shows real life cycles of frog, butterfly, chicken and mosquito.
6)Pupils will have a look at the power point presentation about complete changes of mosquito, chicken ,frog, and housefly. Pupil will read the process after the eggs is hatch. They also will learn about the time taken to complete a life cycle. In the same slide pupils will complete some activity filling in the blanks.
7)Next pupils will complete an interactive quiz. They will drag the pictures given into the empty boxes.
8)Pupils will enjoy the games given. Pupil have to drag the correct picture to fill in the life cycle in the right order.
Materials : Slide, Interactive quiz and game and Power Point show.
